Roguri

So, this is a (cruddy) picture of a quick lineart.
This crazy...thing...is Roguri, a "new" Cael character.
She's scheduled to appear in the third book with her partner in crime: a tree.

Kai tugged Adara to a stop when he spotted a frighteningly large creature in the distance. It had a lion-like mane and a long, swinging tail. At the end was a patch of long, feather-like hair. It’s head seemed more hippo-like. It had a broad snout and mouth, and single small horn coming out of the middle if its forehead. It’s long, muscular body was covered in short fur well-suited for scorching Falir weather. The main color of this creature was the same yellow-tan of the dead grasslands it lived in. It had peculiar markings on its head, tail, and limbs of black and light brown. He had never seen anything like it.
He walked his horse cautiously behind the strange animal, interrupting it from scratching it’s claws into a mossy boulder. He said loudly, “I request something from you, beast.”
The animal froze in mid-stretch. Two ovular ears pricked up. It was a moment before it turned its head. With each breath, air pushed out of two large nostrils with considerable force, much like a horse's did. For the next minute, it simply stared at him. He grew worried, wondering if he’d upset it. Suddenly, it spoke through velvety lips and a quick head nod, “And who might you be?”
